CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

Home Service Premier Pros

Effective Date: May 6, 2026

Last Reviewed: May 6, 2026

This Privacy Notice for California Residents (“CCPA Notice”) supplements our main Privacy Policy and applies exclusively to California residents (“consumers” or “you”). It is provided in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (“CPRA”). Capitalized terms used in this notice have the meanings given in the CCPA/CPRA or in our main Privacy Policy, available at https://homeservicepremierpros.com/hspp-privacy-policy/.

Overview of Your CCPA/CPRA Rights

California law gives residents specific rights regarding their personal information, including the right to know what is collected, the right to delete it, the right to opt out of its sale or sharing, the right to limit how sensitive personal information is used, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Home Service Premier Pros does not penalize you for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality solely because you have asserted a CCPA/CPRA right (except as permitted through clearly disclosed financial incentive programs that you choose to participate in).

Information Excluded from “Personal Information”

For purposes of this notice, personal information does not include:

  • Publicly available information from government records.
  • De-identified or aggregated consumer information.
  • Information excluded from the CCPA’s scope, such as health or medical information governed by HIPAA or the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act, or certain sector-specific data.

We may also disclose personal information when responding to lawful requests, complying with applicable law, or protecting our rights, the rights of others, or safety.

Sharing and “Sale” of Personal Information

We disclose personal information to our approved Partners, including the home service providers listed at https://homeservicepremierpros.com/all-approved-installers/, to facilitate matching, quoting, and service delivery. Under the broad definitions in the CCPA/CPRA, this transfer of personal information may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” — including for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising — even though we do not market your information as a standalone product.

Third parties that receive your information are contractually prohibited from reselling it without first allowing you the opportunity to opt out. During the past twelve (12) months, we have shared or sold the categories of personal information described above with service providers, approved Partners, and certain data aggregators in connection with the operation of our matching service.

Your Rights Under the CCPA/CPRA

1. Right to Know and Data Portability

You may request that we disclose the categories of personal information collected about you, the sources of that information, the purposes for which it was collected, the third parties with whom it was shared, and the specific pieces of personal information collected. You may also request two separate lists — one identifying any sales of your personal information and another identifying business-purpose disclosures — covering the preceding twelve (12) months.

2. Right to Delete

You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions — such as completing a transaction, complying with legal obligations, security or debugging activities, exercising free speech, supporting research, or carrying out internal uses reasonably aligned with your relationship with us.

3. Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing

You may direct us not to sell or share your personal information. We honor valid opt-out requests, including those communicated through Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) browser signals. After an opt-out, we will not ask you to re-authorize sale or sharing for at least twelve (12) months. For consumers under sixteen (16) years of age, we do not sell or share personal information without affirmative opt-in consent (parental consent is required for those under thirteen).

4. Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information

You may direct us to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information — such as precise geolocation — to what is necessary to perform the services you have requested.

5. Right to Correct

You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you, where applicable.

6. Right to Non-Discrimination

We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality because you have exercised any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. We may, however, offer financial incentives that are reasonably related to the value of your personal information, provided we obtain your prior opt-in consent and clearly disclose the terms.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To submit a verifiable consumer request, contact us by email at info@homeservicepremierpros.com.

Only you, or someone you have legally authorized to act on your behalf, may submit a request. To process your request, we may need to verify your identity using information you provide — typically name, email, and address — without using that information for any other purpose. You do not need to create an account with us to submit a request. Requests to know are limited to two per twelve-month period per consumer.

We aim to respond to verifiable requests within forty-five (45) days. If we need more time, we will inform you in writing and may extend the response period by an additional forty-five (45) days. Where applicable, we will deliver portable information in a readily usable format. We do not charge a fee unless a request is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded.

To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link available on the Site, or send a Global Privacy Control signal through your browser. Confirmation of your opt-out will be provided through an on-Site indicator or other appropriate method.

Additional California Rights

Under California’s “Shine the Light” law (California Civil Code § 1798.83), California residents may request information once per calendar year about disclosures we have made of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please email us at info@homeservicepremierpros.com.

Updates to This Notice

We may update this CCPA Notice periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Updates will be posted on this page with the new effective date. Your continued use of the Site after any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised notice.
